Timber

All of the timber is milled from Lithuanian wood (pine or spruce trees) and can be sold either “green” (freshly felled) or dried. It is recommended to use dried timber for structural purposes where the supporting loads are computed. Dried timber (up to 18-20% of moisture) is about twice as strong as wood which is not seasoned in any way.  The thickness, width and length of timber can be very diverse. Standard thickness of timber is 25, 30, 50, 75 and 100 mm. Standard width of timber is 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225 and 250 mm. Standard length of timber products is 6 meters. However, timber is mostly custom cut according to customer requests.
